Glorious defeat for Hong Kong team

Tonight, Hong Kong played Qatar, a strong competitor from west Asia, at home in the World Cup Asian qualifier (Group C). Our team displayed drive and determination, but still lost 2-3 in the end.

Hong Kong were down by one goal at half-time. After switching ends for the second half, Qatar scored again in a swift attack, but Hong Kong remained high-spirited. In the 84th minute, Qatar got a third goal. Spurred on by home fans, our team demonstrated Hong Kong's can-do spirit and scored our first goal ever against Qatar, followed by another in the 89th minute.

Hong Kong team's determination was commendable. Ranked third in the group, our team still has the chance to qualify for the World Cup. Go Hong Kong Go!
