Visiting cleaning workers at Victoria Park

The Chinese New Year is the traditional festival that we value the most. During the several days of holiday we can relax and have a good rest.

However, many people still work as usual during the Chinese New Year holidays for the sake of our safety, comfort and convenience. These include people working in the public transport, dining, retail and cleaning services sectors, as well as colleagues in the disciplined services departments. While enjoying the relaxing and carefree holidays, we should thank these people for their efforts.

This afternoon, I went to Victoria Park to visit the workers clearing the Lunar New Year Fair there and I thanked them for working for the public on the first day of the Chinese New Year.
