My old fast food shop – it's been a while!

There used to be a staff canteen in the Central Government Offices - the same building that now accommodates the Chief Executive-elect's Office. But the canteen has closed down following the relocation of bureaus and departments to Tamar.

Over the past month I've been very much occupied with preparations for my new job/the new government, and seldom had lunch with friends. Instead, I usually rush home for lunch or bring a box of salad when I leave for the office in the morning.

Today, after a meeting at Tamar, I made my way to the fast food shop in Jardine House to get a lunch box. This is the fast food shop that I frequented when I used to work there. Today was the first time I'd been back to the shop since the election. I ordered a Chinese style combo with soup for $51!
