Continue to work hard

There are four and a half months left in the Government's current term of office. I and all Government colleagues will continue to work hard and serve the community wholeheartedly.

Today, I attended six public events to show support for various sectors of the community. I attended and spoke at the conference of the Women's Commission this afternoon. Then I participated in five events in the evening, namely the inauguration ceremony of the New Territories General Chamber of Commerce, celebration for the 105th anniversary of the China Construction Bank (Asia), and spring receptions held separately by the labour sector, the Hong Kong Industrial and Commercial Association Limited and the Construction Industry Council. Women, the labour sector, the business community, and Hong Kong's first Chinese-funded bank - all important sectors in Hong Kong performing different functions in the society - should be valued for their contributions.
