Opening plenary of Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference

At the opening plenary of Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference today, aside from the keynote speech delivered by Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli, other state leaders also spoke at the session, including leaders of Madagascar, the Federated States of Micronesia, Nepal, Afghanistan and Myanmar.

These countries are not major economies, but their state leaders were invited to speak at the opening plenary of the conference. This shows that China attaches equal importance to small countries. It pays special attention to the interests of small, less developed countries and their views under the conference's theme "Globalization and Free Trade".
