Professor the Honourable Arthur LI Kwok-cheung, GBM, GBS, JP

Aged 77. Professor Li is Non-executive Director and Deputy Chairman of the Bank of East Asia and a member of the Committee for the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region under the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. Professor Li was formerly a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Council of the University of Hong Kong, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Vice-Chancellor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was Secretary for Education and Manpower from July 2002 to June 2007. He was awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal in 2017.
