The Honourable Gary CHAN Hak-kan, SBS, JP

Aged 47. Mr Chan is currently a Legislative Council Member and Chairman of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong. He also serves as Chairman of the Legislative Council Panel on Security, Member of the Po Leung Kuk Advisory Board and Non-Executive Director of the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited. Mr Chan was formerly Council Member of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Member of All-China Youth Federation and Special Assistant to the Chief Executive. Mr Chan was awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star in 2021.
