The Honourable Martin LIAO Cheung-kong, GBM, GBS, JP

Aged 68. Mr Liao qualified as a barrister. He is Chairman of the Hong Kong Jockey Club and Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He previously served as a Legislative Council Member, Chairman of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (Financial Institutions) Review Tribunal, Council Member of the University of Hong Kong and Part-time Member of the Central Policy Unit. Mr Liao was awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal in 2024.
